On Tuesday, January 15, What The Frock! will be hosting a fundraising quiz to support the Confronting Women's Poverty event, being held at Bristol City Hall on Friday, March 8.
The quiz will be upstairs at the Big Chill on Small Street, Bristol. Doors will open at 7.30pm and the quiz will start at 8pm. We aim to wrap up the evening between 10-10.30pm. Raffle tickets will be sold on the night, and the raffle will be drawn after the quiz.
As with previous WTF! quizzes, there will be a maximum of four people per team (if you have more people to bring, just make up more teams!) and it costs £3 per person to enter the quiz (you'll be asked to pay on the night). There will be fabulous prizes for each member of the winning quiz team.
There will also be a prize raffle - tickets will be 50p each, or a strip of five for £2. Watch the Facebook page for updates on prize donations - they're going to be incredible. At the time of writing, prizes include: signed books by Helen Dunmore, a meal for two at The Square Club, coffee table books by Alistair Sawday's, as well as a pair of tickets to the What The Frock! comedy night on January 24. Many more prizes to be announced.
Every penny raised from this evening will go to Confronting Women's Poverty.
NB:
You are being asked to reserve your place to avoid overcrowding at the venue. It is free to reserve your place, and you'll only be asked to pay for your quiz entry (£3 per person) on the night. If you find you are no longer able to attend, please email whatfrock@gmail.com ASAP to let us know so that we can open up your space to someone else. Thank you for your cooperation.
